Education & Early Childhood Development
The Education and Early Childhood Development program is designed to meet student interest and the local demand for Pre-K–12 teachers and skilled childcare workers.
Students will be introduced to careers in education and explore lesson plans, growth and childhood development, special education, technology in the classroom, and other introductory concepts. Students will have the opportunity to tour schools, shadow teachers, and briefly work in a school building classroom. The two-year program offers students the opportunity to earn a credential in Early Childhood Education of Pre-K-12 Education.
